Meet jake

Jake Hughes is a British driver racing for the Hitech GP team in the international FIA Formula 3 Series.

Jake was born on 30 May 1994 and came late to motorsport, starting karting just before his 16th birthday.

In his first year racing cars, Jake won the inaugural BRDC Formula 4 Championship in 2013.  Two years in Formula Renault yielded race wins and consistent challenge for championships.  After testing GP3, F3 and 3.5 V8 cars, Jake selected GP3 with DAMS as the most competitive championship to race.

When he’s not racing, Jake spends his time training, preparing to race with DAMS and thinking about racing.  He also relaxes with friends and supports Aston Villa Football Club.
